Getting to know you and your home

Jane has developed a thorough process designed to give her a true understanding of your artistic needs and desires in your home. ‘The Process’ is consultative and collaborative, an exploration of your personality, aspirations and dreams.

It all begins with a conversation

A simple telephone call is the perfect place to start. Jane will listen to your thoughts and wishes, and ask a series of both practical and perceptive questions: such as how many rooms are you considering art for? do you have a budget in mind? What do you hope to gain from your art? From there you’ll agree a time and a place to meet.

A meeting of minds

Jane will visit your home, office, or any other personal space you wish to discuss the project. She’ll present you with a questionnaire and the two of you can talk at leisure through the scope of the undertaking. Jane will want to determine your likes and dislikes, what makes you tick, what are your hopes, what events and places have shaped your life. And then more specifically how does all this translate into the art you wish to surround yourself with. She’ll get a feel for every room, its energy and light, and begin to picture the art that will adorn and furnish your home’s walls.

Sourcing the art works

A proposal is written and signed, in line with your brief and budget, and from there Jane begins the critical process of seeking the perfect pieces for your project. She will send over photographs of every artwork she finds and recommends. And only when your perfectly happy does she negotiate the purchase or commission a work.

The finishing touches

Finally, Jane will be on hand to help in the placing and hanging of your canvases. When she leaves your house, its walls are alive with the sheen of unique art, every piece reflecting myriad meaning for you, your loved ones, and your home itself.
